About Me
My name is Jordan Miller, I am a 16-year old Business owner of GY Leaflet Distributors and an Apprentice Business Administrator at Scorpion Oceanics.
I aspire to venture into Local Politics so I can have a say in the direction that Great Yarmouth goes into, this is why I am a Labour Party card holding Member.
My Education
Infant: Northgate ST Andrews.
Junior: Northdenes Primary School
Secondary: Caister Academy - CET.
At Caister Academy I was the Head Boy, I helped run charity events and wrote and read public speeches. In my final week at Caister Academy, the Principal wrote me a letter to thank me for everything I had done on behalf of the school.
College: East Coast College, Lowestoft.
I attend East Coast College and study Business Administration as a part of my Apprenticeship with Scorpion Oceanics.
Businesses & Business Projects
Great Yarmouth Leaflet Distributors was my first and, is my most successful, Business. It started from a conversation I had with two friends (my co-founders) over Xbox party chat, where we had decided to ask local takeaways to let us deliver their leaflets so we could make some money. The next day we printed flyers and shared them around town and created a Facebook group.
I have been involved in other business projects that I decided not to go much further with, these include an advice site for young entrepreneurs called Build it Young, and an outsourced Customer Support Agency called Lightning Support Services.
My most recent Project has been going very well, it is a UK-wide Leaflet Distribution website that is complete with an interactive map for companies to find Leaflet Distribution companies across the UK and plan all their campaigns through, this is called The Leaflet Drop Hub.
I have a passion for business and Marketing and I enjoy being put in the position to be able to sell and pitch my ideas.
